The theme of the conference addresses the role of innovation policies in supporting broader economic and societal transformation, a theme well timed in the European context but one that allows us to integrate in a novel way also other world regions, such as emerging economies and developing countries struggling to solve economic modernization and pressing social challenges.

GBC2015 Winter Global Business Conference will be held in Tignes (France) from February 02nd-06th, 2015.

This conference primarily aims at understanding the key opportunities for innovation in diverse fields. In many disciplines we need to re-invent how we look at phenomena. Businesses are continuous re-inventing business models – should academics reinvent theirs? How could models be reshaped by rearranging the “boxes and arrows”? What are the boundary conditions for diverse phenomena? What changes with the phenomena in the points of extremes?

All papers from major business and economics fields (marketing, management, finance, accounting, and economics), theoretical or empirical, are highly encouraged.
